“He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and He that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”
The sure way to test a man’s commitment and faithfulness is by assigning him a small, simple, and seemingly unprofitable task, if he gets it right, you can almost be assured that he will deliver when entrusted with a bigger task. Our God who is the creator of all things is the author of small beginnings: as gigantic as the Lord God is, His work in us always starts small, grows, until it becomes an awesome wonder on earth. The Bible says in Job 8:7 that, “Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.” What a motivation this is for a small beginner!
You are there and you want to start-up your own business, yet you still despise your boss, report late for his work, and do not submit in your assignments in time. Do you think you are being faithful in this work you call small? You are a minister of the word in your church, and you feel there is a burning call upon your life to start-up your own church or ministry, but you do not respect your senior pastor, and you do your ministerial duties grudgingly. Do you think you are being faithful in this ministry you call small? Beloved! God trains big ministers, powerful businessmen, world renown musicians, and all great leaders, in small arenas, not in big stages. Be faithful at your current level, however small it is.
The way you serve men, is the way men will serve you. How much you give in for the work of your boss today, is the much your servants will give in for your own work tomorrow. Therefore, with due faithfulness do every piece of work presented to you like you were doing your own hobby. God surely rewards faithfulness and He will certainly reward your faithful works, and honour you in the presence of all men. Keep serving other men faithfully until God gives your own entity, afterall, Luke 16:12 says, “And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?”
I Love You!
